Warranty Policy
WARRANTY POLICY
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This Warranty Policy explains the voluntary product warranty offered by Aurea Elegance for eligible products purchased through www.aureaelegance.shop.
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. It does not replace, restrict or exclude any legal rights or remedies available under the laws applicable to you.
1. Warranty Coverage
Eligible products purchased from Aurea Elegance are covered by a 30-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects, beginning on the date of delivery.
A manufacturing defect is an issue resulting from the way a product was made that affects its expected appearance, structure or normal use under appropriate conditions.
Depending on the product and circumstances, examples may include:
-
Broken or detached components upon delivery;
-
Faulty clasps or fastenings;
-
Missing components;
-
Structural defects present when the product was delivered;
-
A product that is materially different from its description.
This voluntary warranty is separate from our Returns & Refunds Policy and does not limit any statutory rights that may continue beyond the 30-day warranty period.
2. What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not normally cover:
-
Normal wear and tear;
-
Gradual changes resulting from regular use;
-
Scratches, dents or other accidental damage;
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper handling;
-
Damage caused by unauthorised alterations or repairs;
-
Loss or theft;
-
Loss of individual stones, components or accessories caused by accidental impact or improper handling;
-
Damage caused by failure to follow any care instructions supplied with the product;
-
Damage caused by unsuitable exposure to water, moisture, perfume, cosmetics, cleaning products, chemicals, excessive heat or other substances, unless the product is expressly described as resistant to such exposure;
-
Natural or minor variations that do not affect the product’s intended use;
-
Colour differences caused solely by photography, lighting or screen settings.
These exclusions do not apply where the issue results from an existing defect or where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
A product will not automatically be refused merely because it has been used. We will review whether the reported issue is consistent with a manufacturing defect, normal wear, accidental damage or improper use.
3. Statutory Consumer Rights
Customers may have legal rights when a product is:
-
Faulty;
-
Not of satisfactory quality;
-
Not fit for its intended purpose;
-
Materially different from its description;
-
Incorrectly supplied.
For customers in the United Kingdom, these rights may apply independently of this voluntary warranty and may continue beyond the 30-day warranty period.
Customers in other countries or regions may have different mandatory rights under their local laws.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
4. How to Submit a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, contact suporteelegance@hotmail.com as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
Please include:
-
Your full name;
-
Order number;
-
Product name;
-
A clear description of the issue;
-
The date the issue was first noticed;
-
Clear photographs or video showing the product and reported defect;
-
Photographs of the packaging where relevant.
Please do not dispose of, alter or attempt to repair the product while the claim is being reviewed.
We may request additional photographs, videos or information reasonably necessary to assess the claim.
5. Claim Review
Each claim will be reviewed individually based on:
-
The information provided;
-
The nature and age of the product;
-
The reported issue;
-
Available photographs or video;
-
Any applicable product description and care instructions;
-
Applicable consumer law.
Submitting a claim does not automatically confirm that the issue is covered by the voluntary warranty.
However, we will not refuse or limit any remedy that the customer is legally entitled to receive under applicable consumer law.
6. Available Resolutions
If a claim is approved, an appropriate resolution may include:
-
A replacement product, where available;
-
A repair, where reasonable and appropriate;
-
A partial refund;
-
A full refund.
The appropriate resolution will depend on the nature of the defect, product availability, the time since delivery and applicable legal requirements.
If an identical replacement is unavailable, we may offer a comparable alternative, subject to the customer’s agreement, or an appropriate refund.
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.
7. Returns for Inspection
We may ask the customer to return the product before completing the assessment or providing a resolution.
Do not return a product before receiving instructions and the applicable return address from us.
The return address may be different from the address shown on the original parcel.
Products returned without prior instructions or to an unauthorised address may not be received or processed.
8. Shipping Costs
If a product is confirmed to be faulty, defective or incorrectly supplied, Aurea Elegance will cover reasonable return or replacement shipping costs where required by applicable law.
If the reported issue is not covered by this warranty and no mandatory consumer right applies, the customer may be responsible for return or reshipping costs.
Any applicable cost will be communicated before further action is taken.
9. International Warranty Claims
This warranty is available to eligible customers in the United Kingdom and other supported international destinations.
Claim procedures, available remedies and legal rights may vary according to the customer’s country or region.
International customers should contact us before returning a product. Customs documentation and return instructions may differ depending on the destination and return location.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights available under applicable local law.
10. Relationship With Returns
A return based on a change of mind is governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, rather than this Warranty Policy.
If a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer may have rights under both this policy and applicable consumer law.
Customers do not need to describe a manufacturing defect when requesting an eligible change-of-mind return under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
